A quick note
This blog isn't focused on anything specific, other than my life, I suppose. I started it years ago after being inspired to preserve everything about me. I began to realize how precious and short life is, and how important and rewarding remembering the past can be.
The first incarnation was my "Secret Personal Journal," which was a Word document on my computer. It was password protected and very, very private. I used it to gather and reflect on my feelings as I was discovering a lot about myself, especially about my sexual orientation. Most people probably wouldn't want the world to have access to something so personal. So, naturally, I posted it all online. And I've been adding to it ever since.
I don't maintain this blog to get attention. It's simply a place for me to preserve my life. I often remark that I'll be glad I did it when I'm 105 and can look back at my life in a much different way than most 105 year olds can today. It's easy enough to do, and it also contributes to my ideal world of free and open information.
Since you're here, though, and you've read this much, I hope you enjoy your stay. Perhaps you'll gain some insight into your own life or thought processes that you never expected from a blog. :-)
